I love gadgets and Ive been wondering if this one works. So I made meatballs for the first time in my life [See photos]. I noticeably improved from my first to my final set. I learned to fill it "flat" to the dividers else they tend to stick together. Otherwise they came off cleanly with the "spatula" The spatula I found to be useful beyond the "push them out. I scooped up the next batch, cleaned up separations and smoothed the mixture. I enjoyed giving it a try. It did survive the uppershelf of my dishwasher. The size of the balls was about 1 inch each [I tried laying a ruler down in the last photo at the same level as the bottom of the bowl. Next time I want larger balls so I will investigate other options. I imagine someone who is a pro would find this "fussy" as they could make them faster but as a newbie I appreciated getting consistency in size quickly. thanks much!
